Watching pain: do videos beat numbers for Post-Op patients?
NCT ID NCT07051304
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether showing patients videos of different pain expressions helps them describe their pain better than the usual 0-10 number scale. 240 adults who just had surgery tried both methods and shared which they preferred. The goal was to see if videos make pain assessment clearer and more patient-friendly.
