Can videos better show your pain than a number?
NCT ID NCT07051304
Summary
This study tested whether patients recovering from surgery prefer using short videos of people showing different pain levels instead of the traditional 0-10 number scale. Researchers showed 240 adult patients both methods to see which one was easier to understand and which they liked better. The goal is to improve how medical staff measure and understand patient pain after operations.
