Doctors prescribe video games to get heart patients moving
NCT ID NCT05641662
Summary
This study is testing if specially designed video games that require physical movement (exergames) can help inactive people with heart failure become less sedentary and more active. About 750 participants will be randomly assigned to either receive general activity advice or use a tailored exergame program for 3 months. The main goal is to see if playing these games reduces sitting time and improves patients' fitness, strength, and overall quality of life.
