NCT ID NCT07385729

First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looked at whether adding short instructional videos to standard teaching helps first-year nursing students learn how to care for central venous catheters (CVCs). 66 students were split into two groups: one got traditional lessons, the other also watched videos on blood draws, medication, and dressing changes. The researchers measured their practical skills, anxiety, and satisfaction. The goal was to find better ways to teach this important but stressful skill.
