Summary
This study tested a new wearable vest called ELECTROVEST that combines vibration with gentle electrical stimulation. It was compared to a standard vibrating vest to see if it was better at helping adults with chronic lung diseases like COPD and cystic fibrosis clear mucus from their airways. The main goals were to see if people coughed up more mucus and found the new vest more comfortable to use.
