VA probes link between military jobs, vibration, and chronic back pain
NCT ID NCT07367139
Summary
This VA study aims to understand how whole-body vibration from military and civilian jobs (like operating vehicles or heavy machinery) contributes to back pain and spine problems in veterans. Researchers will use advanced MRI scans to look at the spine health of 112 veterans with different vibration exposure histories. The goal is to learn how vibration affects the spine over time and whether staying hydrated might help protect it.
