New shot aims to stop bleeding episodes in rare blood disorder

Summary
This study tests a new medicine called VGA039, given as a shot under the skin, to prevent bleeding episodes in people with Von Willebrand disease (VWD). The trial includes 60 adolescents and adults aged 12 to 75 who have frequent bleeding (12 or more bleeds per year). The goal is to see if regular use of VGA039 can reduce the number of bleeding events and is safe.
