First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests whether using a special ultrasound (VExUS) to guide fluid levels during lung surgery can lower the chance of lung and kidney problems after the operation. About 230 adults having video-assisted lung surgery will take part. The goal is to see if this approach helps doctors give the right amount of fluids to avoid complications.
