First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looks at whether using a special ultrasound (VExUS) to guide how much fluid patients receive during lung surgery can lower the chance of lung and kidney problems after surgery. About 230 adults having video-assisted lung surgery will take part. The goal is to see if this approach leads to better recovery.
