Summary
This pilot study tests whether giving free produce boxes to Veterans with kidney disease and food insecurity can improve their health. Researchers will track blood pressure and kidney function in 20 participants, and interview them about their experience. The goal is to see if food as medicine can help manage chronic conditions like kidney disease, diabetes, and high blood pressure.
