Summary
This study looked at whether following a very low calorie diet before bariatric (weight-loss) surgery can help patients lose more weight before the operation and feel happier with their care. A total of 85 adults who were eligible for bariatric surgery took part. Researchers measured weight loss and quality of life using a standard questionnaire.
