Summary
This study looked at whether the drug vericiguat helps people who recently had a heart attack or unstable angina and have a weak heart (ejection fraction below 45%). Researchers compared those who took vericiguat regularly to those who did not, tracking deaths, heart failure hospital stays, heart function, and quality of life. The trial enrolled 149 adults and was completed by the First Affiliated Hospital with Nanjing Medical University.
