Summary
This study tested if a doctor's calming and encouraging words during a colonoscopy (done without sedation) can help reduce pain and anxiety. 102 adults took part, with half receiving positive verbal suggestions and the other half receiving standard care. The goal was to see if this simple, low-cost approach could make the procedure more comfortable.
