Summary
This study looks at how well the lungs are working in 10 adult patients who are on a heart-lung machine (VA ECMO) and a breathing tube. Researchers will use a special imaging technique and pressure measurements to find the best breathing machine settings. The goal is to improve oxygen flow and reduce lung strain, but this study does not test a new treatment.
