New drug combo aims to control blood cancer without chemo

Summary
This study is testing whether a combination of two drugs, venetoclax and rituximab, works better than standard chemotherapy for people newly diagnosed with Waldenström's macroglobulinemia, a rare blood cancer. The goal is to see if this chemotherapy-free approach can control the disease effectively with fewer side effects. The trial will enroll 80 patients across several countries to compare the two treatment strategies.
