New drug combo shows promise in early trial for tough blood cancer

Summary
This early-phase study tests whether combining two drugs, venetoclax and inotuzumab ozogamicin, is safe and effective for people with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL), a fast-growing blood cancer. About 23 adults whose cancer has returned or not responded to treatment will receive the combination. The goal is to find the best dose and see if it can lead to remission.
