New drug duo takes on tough leukemia

Summary

This early-stage study tests a combination of two drugs, bomedemstat and venetoclax, in adults with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) that has returned or not responded to prior therapy. The main goal is to find the safest dose and understand side effects. About 18 participants will be enrolled.
