Summary
This study looks at how three common blood pressure drugs (ephedrine, phenylepinephrine, and norepinephrine) affect the ability of the uterus to contract after a C-section in women with type 2 or gestational diabetes. Researchers will take small samples of uterine tissue during the surgery and test the drugs in the lab. The goal is to understand why diabetic women have a higher risk of severe bleeding after delivery and how to better manage their blood pressure during the procedure.
