Vein treatment showdown: foam injection vs. heat therapy
NCT ID NCT05312970
Summary
This study aimed to compare two common procedures for treating varicose veins in the leg: a foam injection (Varithena) and a heat-based method (Endothermal Ablation). It enrolled 43 adults who had not found relief from compression stockings or lifestyle changes. The main goal was to see which treatment provided better symptom relief over three years, as reported by the patients themselves.
