First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tested two ways to fix varicoceles (enlarged veins in the scrotum) in 60 men with fertility issues, pain, or low sperm quality. One group had standard microscopic surgery, while the other had a simpler loupe-assisted method with a nitroglycerin spray to help the surgeon see blood vessels clearly. After three months, both groups showed similar improvements in sperm movement and testicular blood flow.
