New study tests cash and text messages to help young adults kick vaping

Summary

This pilot study tested whether combining media literacy education, text message support, and financial incentives helps young adults (ages 19-29) quit vaping. Forty participants who wanted to quit were enrolled. The study measured engagement and vaping abstinence using saliva tests and self-reports.
