Could freezing nerves stop phantom limb pain?

Summary
This study is tracking how a device that freezes nerves is used during amputation surgery. The goal is to see if it helps reduce pain after surgery and phantom limb pain. About 2000 adults having an amputation are being enrolled to monitor safety and how well the procedure works.
