Summary
This completed Phase 1 study in 30 healthy adults tested whether the drug vamorolone can block the mineralocorticoid receptor, which helps control salt and water balance. Participants received vamorolone, a comparison drug, or no treatment, and researchers measured urine sodium and potassium levels.
