Summary

This study tested whether a French version of the HSCL25 questionnaire can help general practitioners diagnose depression more accurately. Over 1,100 adults visiting their primary care doctor took the questionnaire, and their scores were compared to a standard diagnostic interview. The goal was to give doctors a simple, reliable tool to identify depression in everyday practice.
