Summary
This study tests a non-invasive technique called transcutaneous vagus nerve stimulation (taVNS) to reduce chronic joint pain in the legs caused by Chikungunya fever. Fifty-one adults with pain lasting at least three months will receive either taVNS, standard TENS, or a sham treatment over six sessions. The goal is to see if this gentle ear stimulation can safely lower pain and improve quality of life.
