New gel aims to soothe menopause discomfort

Summary
This study is testing a new vaginal gel called AZU-101 to see if it is safe and can help relieve common postmenopausal symptoms like vaginal dryness, irritation, and pain during sex. It will involve 35 healthy postmenopausal women who will use the gel either once or twice a week for 28 days. Researchers will measure safety, how the drug moves through the body, and changes in symptoms and vaginal health.
