First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tests whether a new device called a pelotte gives more accurate vaginal temperature readings during deep hyperthermia (heat therapy) for gynecologic cancer. About 27 women receiving radiation plus heat therapy will have their temperatures measured with both the pelotte and a standard probe. The goal is to see if the pelotte provides better temperature data without causing more discomfort.
