NCT ID NCT03603730

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study explores whether a mild electrical stimulation on the ear (called taVNS) can improve how the brain and stomach work together in people with functional dyspepsia (indigestion) or gastroparesis (slow stomach emptying). Researchers will use brain scans and stomach activity measurements to see the effects. The goal is to find a non-drug way to ease symptoms like fullness, nausea, and pain.
