NCT ID NCT07631702

First seen Jun 10, 2026 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests a device called VacStent for people who develop a leak after colorectal surgery. The device combines a stent with vacuum therapy to help the leak heal while allowing waste to pass normally. About 40 adults will be treated in Dutch hospitals to see if the device can heal the leak without needing more surgery or a temporary colostomy bag.
