New particles aim to shrink fibroids without surgery

Summary
This study is testing a new type of particle, called Bearing nsPVA, used during a procedure to block blood flow to uterine fibroids. The goal is to shrink the fibroids and ease symptoms like heavy bleeding and pain. About 100 women with symptomatic fibroids will take part, and researchers will check safety and symptom improvement over 6 months.
