Summary
This study tested a drug called ustekinumab in 16 adults with Behçet disease, a condition causing painful mouth sores and eye inflammation. The goal was to see if the drug could reduce the number of mouth ulcers and control eye inflammation over 24 weeks. Results suggest ustekinumab may help manage these symptoms, but it is not a cure and ongoing treatment is needed.
