Summary
This study looks at whether a natural supplement called urolithin A can help the body release more insulin and control blood sugar in healthy adults aged 55 and older with a BMI of 27 or higher. Participants will take either urolithin A or a placebo daily for 8 weeks and undergo tests like glucose drinks, continuous glucose monitoring, and exercise assessments. The goal is to understand if this supplement can improve how the body handles sugar as we age.
