Summary
This study is testing whether a protein called titin, found in urine, can serve as a reliable marker of muscle injury in people with Duchenne or Becker muscular dystrophy. Researchers will measure titin levels before and after physical activity, both in the clinic and at home, using wearable activity monitors. The goal is to develop a non-invasive tool that could make future clinical trials smaller, faster, and more accurate. The study involves 50 ambulatory participants and does not test any new treatment.
