Summary
This study looked at whether taking part in urban care farming—hands-on gardening and social activities—can lower stress and improve quality of life for older adults aged 50 to 85. A total of 137 participants joined 24 weekly sessions. Researchers measured stress, well-being, and immune markers to see if the farming group fared better than those who did not take part.
