Arm strength may predict heart failure outcomes in device patients

Summary
This study will test arm strength and endurance in 72 adults with heart failure who have an implanted defibrillator or pacemaker. Researchers want to see if arm function can help predict hospital stays, complications, and survival. Participants will perform simple arm exercises and tests to measure their abilities.
