New study tests therapies for tech neck pain
NCT ID NCT07372391
Summary
This study compared two physical therapy approaches for people with Upper Cross Syndrome, a common condition causing neck, shoulder, and upper back pain often linked to poor posture. Researchers tested whether a muscle-balancing exercise program (Janda's approach) or a tool-based soft tissue massage (IASTM) was better at reducing pain and fatigue and improving posture. The study involved 60 adults who had experienced pain for at least three months.
