New study tests therapies for desk worker pain and fatigue
NCT ID NCT07372391
Summary
This study compared two physical therapy approaches to help adults with Upper Cross Syndrome, a common condition caused by poor posture (like from long computer use) that leads to neck/shoulder pain and fatigue. Researchers tested whether a muscle rebalancing method (Janda's approach) or a tool-based tissue massage technique (IASTM) worked better to reduce pain and fatigue and improve posture. The study involved 60 adults who had experienced pain for at least three months.
