First seen May 23, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026

Summary

This study looked at how well the drug upadacitinib works for Crohn's disease when it only affects the small bowel, compared to when it affects other parts of the digestive tract. Researchers reviewed records of 3 people with active Crohn's who took upadacitinib for 12 weeks. They used ultrasound to measure bowel inflammation and checked symptoms and lab results to see if the drug was effective.
