Summary
This study looked at 60 people with metastatic breast cancer to find out if certain cells in their blood (called CK+/CD45+ double-positive cells) come from the tumor. Researchers took a blood sample before starting treatment and checked archived tumor samples. The goal was to better understand these cells, not to provide a direct treatment. The study is complete and helps improve knowledge about how breast cancer spreads.
