Summary
This study aims to better understand why and how humans make nonverbal sounds such as screams, grunts, and laughter. Researchers will record and analyze these vocalizations from 2,000 participants, along with measuring heart rate, skin responses, and pupil changes. The goal is to uncover the nature and function of these important but little-studied signals.
