Summary
This study looked at how certain immune cells (T cells and NK cells) might harm blood vessels in people with systemic sclerosis (scleroderma). Researchers took blood samples from 30 participants to measure a protein called Fractalkine and study cell interactions. The goal was to better understand the disease, not to test a new treatment.
