Summary
This study looked at special immune cells called regulatory T cells in the joint fluid of people with rheumatoid arthritis during a flare-up. The goal was to understand how these cells behave in the inflamed joint compared to the blood. 19 adults with active arthritis took part. No treatment was given; this was purely an observation study to gather knowledge.
