Summary

This study looks at how the body's automatic nervous system controls blood flow in abdominal veins and how that might lead to high blood pressure in people with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA). Researchers will measure vein responses in about 16 participants aged 40-80 who have MSA, low blood pressure upon standing, and high blood pressure when lying down. The goal is to better understand the link between nerve function and blood pressure regulation.
