Gene hunt: why CAR-T leaves some patients with low blood counts
NCT ID NCT06630104
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study aims to understand why some people develop long-lasting low blood cell counts (cytopenia) after CAR-T therapy for multiple myeloma or certain lymphomas. Researchers will analyze participants' genes to find changes that might increase this risk. The goal is to better predict and manage this side effect, not to test a new treatment.
