NCT ID NCT06915467

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests a new method to give emergency medicine to newborns in cardiac arrest right after birth. Doctors will try to insert a tiny tube into the umbilical vein through a special jelly-like substance (Wharton's jelly) to deliver adrenaline quickly. The goal is to restart the baby's heart within 90 seconds. The study involves 26 full-term newborns and compares this new technique to the standard method.
