What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

therapeutic ultrasound and whole-body vibration devices

What this could lead to

If it works, this could point toward simple, non-drug ways to improve knee movement and daily function in children with cerebral palsy.

What could go wrong

This is a small, completed study (60 children) with no blinding, so results may be less reliable. The improvements might not apply to all children with CP.
