Could ultrasounds replace risky surgery for vulvar cancer?

Summary
This study is testing whether regular ultrasound scans can be a safe alternative to immediate surgery for women with early-stage vulvar cancer. It aims to see if closely monitoring the lymph nodes in the groin with ultrasound every two months can help some women avoid the side effects of surgery, which can be lifelong. The study will enroll 30 women to compare the standard surgical approach against this new monitoring strategy.
