First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study looked at 30 adults with chronic hip pain caused by ischiofemoral impingement, a condition where bones pinch soft tissues. Researchers compared ultrasound measurements of hip muscles and spaces to MRI scans to see if the simpler, cheaper ultrasound could be just as accurate. The goal was to find a more accessible way to diagnose this condition without relying solely on expensive MRI.
