Ultrasound aims to improve accuracy of Pain-Relief injections
NCT ID NCT07269184
Summary
This study aims to see if using an ultrasound machine helps doctors place epidural pain-relief catheters more accurately than using touch alone. It will involve 60 surgery patients whose spinal bones are difficult to feel by hand. Researchers will compare how often each method is successful on the first try, how long it takes, and if there are any complications.
