Summary
This study aims to see if a simple intestinal ultrasound can be as accurate as a colonoscopy for monitoring ulcerative colitis activity. Researchers will compare both methods in 200 adult patients with active ulcerative colitis. The goal is to find a less invasive, more comfortable way to track this chronic bowel disease over time.
