First seen Mar 18, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study looks at 50 adults in the intensive care unit after surgery. Doctors will use ultrasound to measure muscle thickness and fat in the leg, and check nutrition and frailty scores. The goal is to see if these measurements can help predict how long patients need a breathing tube and other recovery outcomes.
